DISASTERS OFFER AN EMMERGING HOPE FOR ENRICHING THE POORESTS! GOD AT WORK

The rich may never always get richer and the poor poorer! Is this research giving the rural poor a hope through natural disasters? A Honduras research is giving the rural poor a boost in morals asit believes that disasters could not only be advantageous to them, but that they may also fare better in its wake than their affluent 'friends'!!! www.sciencedaily.com/ reports this refreshing insight thus

A new study in Honduras suggests that climate-related weather disasters may sometimes actually provide opportunities for the rural poor to improve their lives. Researchers found that that the poorest inhabitants of a small village in northeastern Honduras increased their land wealth and their share of earnings relative to more wealthy residents after Hurricane Mitch devastated their village in October 1998.
The findings offer a glimmer of hope from widespread concerns that the world's poor will suffer the most from shocks created by global climate change.
"In the face of climate shocks, the fate of the poorest is not sealed,"

There is hope afterall for over 60%  poor  Nigerians as well, we only need to be given the OPPORTUNITY
